We are looking for a confident, outgoing and proactive Sales Support Officer to support our Australian client, a growing provider of business finance solutions.
Working as part of the sales and broker support function, you will be a key first point of contact for finance brokers interested in learning more about our client’s products or becoming accredited to introduce business.
The role combines inbound broker support, accreditation assistance and outbound business development activity.
You will respond to broker enquiries, explain the company's products and processes, assist prospective brokers through accreditation, and proactively contact brokers who may be interested in establishing a relationship with In2 Capital.
This position would suit someone who enjoys speaking with customers and business partners, is comfortable making outbound calls, and can build rapport quickly while providing professional and responsive service.
Key Duties
- Act as a primary point of contact for inbound enquiries from finance brokers and other prospective introducers.
- Respond professionally and promptly to telephone and email enquiries regarding the company’s lending products, processes and broker proposition.
- Explain the broker accreditation process and assist prospective brokers with completing the requirements necessary to become accredited.
- Follow up accreditation enquiries and applications to help ensure they progress efficiently through the onboarding process.
- Make proactive outbound calls to finance brokers and other prospective introducers who may be interested in doing business with In2 Capital.
- Introduce brokers to products and broker proposition and identify opportunities for further engagement with the Australian sales team.
- Build positive and professional relationships with existing and prospective broker partners.
- Maintain accurate records of broker enquiries, conversations, follow-up activities and accreditation progress within the client's systems.
- Coordinate with Australian sales, credit and operations teams where enquiries require further technical or credit-related assistance.
- Follow up prospective brokers at agreed intervals and maintain an organised pipeline of broker opportunities.
- Assist with general sales administration, broker communications and related support activities.
- Prepare or maintain sales activity reports and other information required by the sales team.
- Develop a sound working knowledge of our client’s products, eligibility requirements and broker processes.
- Ensure all broker communications are professional, accurate and consistent with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Previous experience in sales support, customer service, business development, broker support or a telephone-based client service role.
- Experience within financial services, lending, banking, fintech, mortgage broking or commercial finance would be highly regarded.
- Confident and professional spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with Australian business customers and brokers.
- Comfortable handling both inbound enquiries and proactive outbound calls.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain products and processes clearly and confidently.
- Good written English and professional email communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with brokers, introducers or other B2B referral partners would be advantageous.
- Outgoing, engaging and comfortable speaking with new people.
- Proactive and willing to initiate conversations rather than wait for enquiries
- Commercially minded and interested in helping develop new broker relationships.
- Professional, courteous and responsive.
- Confident without being overly sales-driven or aggressive.
- Well organised and disciplined with follow-up activity.
- Able to build rapport quickly over the telephone.
- Positive, resilient and comfortable working toward activity and engagement targets.
- Competitive salary commensurate with skills and experience.
- Attractive employee benefits and allowances.
- Sydney business hours, Monday to Friday (morning/day schedule).
- Opportunity to work with a growing Australian business finance provider.
- A supportive and professional working environment.
- Long-term career development opportunities with ESC.
- Role is full time onsite in Ortigas.
